Bilingual capabilities are a standard requirement for our national Canadian and US clients. Membee's features can be presented bilingually on your website to best meet the needs of your members.

Control Bilingual Text
There are two methods to present bilingual text in our features: Static & Dynamic.
Combining these two approaches creates the best bilingual experience for your site visitors. Content entered into the field by a site visitor would be stored in Membee just as it's entered; French content and punctuation would be stored just as such.
Static
Static control where section names, instructional paragraphs, event descriptions, etc, are entered by you in both languages in the corresponding fields and can be customized at any time. The text is fixed and does not change until you manually change the field.
For example, the full instructional text presented would display in the format "English / French" like so:
Please complete the following online application. / Veuillez remplir le formulaire en ligne.
Dynamic
Dynamic control would change section names, captions, and financial formatting based on the language selected. All of Membee's widgets would display a language toggle so the site visitor can change the language on the fly.
For example, on the New Member Sign Up widget, the first name field would display as follows when the language is toggled:

As you view each of the features below, some of them will require login credentials in order to preview the bilingual capabilities. Use the following login credentials provided to proceed.

New Member Application Form
- Click the "Français" option at the right corner of the form to toggle to French
- Fields in the form are displayed in French
- Section title and instructional text are displayed in a static manner where the text entered does not change

Member Renewal
- Direct link to the member's invoice
- Click the "Français" option at the right corner of the form to toggle to French
- Section title and instructional text are displayed in a static manner where the text entered does not change
- Direct link to all outstanding invoices on the member's record
- Login required with the credentials provided above
- Notice the login widget is also bilingual with the "Français" toggle option
Member Online Profile
- Allows the member to self-service their own information
- Member changes can be accepted automatically by Membee (recommended) or require approval by an administrator before being accepted
- Login required with the credentials provided above
- Click the "Français" option at the right corner of the form to toggle to French
Events
- Event information is displayed in a static manner where the text entered does not change (i.e. event name, description, event item, etc).
- Notice the currency rate does toggle when in French and English
Member Directory
- Can be public or require member login for access
- Click the "Français" option at the right corner of the form to toggle to French
- Search for "bank"
Membee Complete's Bilingual Website Add-On
By hosting your website with Membee Complete, we can offer a bilingual add-on feature that would toggle your full site to two languages, making it easy for you to manage both page content and menus in either language. This allows the visitor to switch between the two languages on the fly.
- At the top left corner, select the English or French options to toggle the language of the full site
- Notice that the number of menu items changing, demonstrating the ability to have a different menu per language
